I am very happy to report that our Sheldon ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved significant salary increases for all current SISD employees at tonight’s regular school board meeting in the Ney Administration Building Boardroom.

2016 Sheldon ISD Bond Construction Update

As the 2018-2019 school year comes to a close, Sheldon ISD personnel would like to take a moment to update you on a few construction projects that are nearing completion – including proposed timelines – as we transition into some of our wonderful new facilities. Please keep in mind that these proposed opening dates could change due to any unforeseen extensive weather delays hampering construction.

Technology Volunteers Needed

Are you looking for a way to use your computer science background to give back to your community? The Microsoft Philanthropies TEALS Program (Technology Education and Literacy in Schools) supports computer science (CS) education by recruiting and training technology professionals to volunteer in high school classrooms. These volunteers are paired with CS teachers to help high schools in the Houston metro area and nationwide build and grow rigorous, sustainable CS programs.
