Eagle's After School Program 

We are excited to announce that the after school program will continue at Sheldon Lake Elementary School for the 2021-2022 school year under the Nita M. Lowery 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant.The Sheldon ISD After-School program is an after-school academic and enrichment program supported by the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Centers Grant through the Texas Education Agency. The after-school program is offered 3 hours daily, Monday thru Friday.

The after school program will take on a focus of providing innovative and interactive lessons & activities to support the students in all areas of life. The program provides students with academic opportunities designed to complement the districts' academic programs. 

The goal of the program is to extend learning time for each student using a discovery learning approach through hands-on exploration. The after school program is the catalyst to assist in closing the achievement gap with a long range goal of increasing academic performance.
