Hello Sheldon Lake Families,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!

I am grateful and excited to serve as the Principal at Sheldon Lake Elementary. I have a strong passion for teaching and learning that permeates all facets of my life.

I graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Houston. 

I look forward to partnering with you in your child’s education!

Greetings Eagles,

I am honored and humbled to be serving my third year at "The Lake" as the Assistant Principal. Family and community is the cornerstone of who I am. For me, family and community means cultivating strong relationships that are not perfect, yet are meaningful and requires continual work to develop.

I look forward to collaborating, partnering, and supporting the campus on the road to excellence to ensure our scholars meet or exceed their full potential.

My journey is as follows: I am a graduate of Lamar University with a Masters of Education in Educational Technology Leadership and a Bachelors of Science in Curriculum Education at the University of Houston. I have grown alongside Sheldon ISD through the years, and I have been a servant of the community for 13 years. I have served as a District Curriculum Specialist for Science and as the Math and Science Curriculum Specialist at H.M. Carroll elementary. Fortunately, my foundational work in the classroom began at The Garrett Elementary: teaching 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade building my experience educating and developing relationships with diverse students and parents of all demographics and backgrounds has led me to You!

I look forward to our continued shared experiences and growth as we should always remember “Our Why and Lead by Our How”. Eagle community, thank you for always showing up and supporting our village.

I'm so excited to join “The Lake”!!!​

It's time to SOAR. I have worked with young scholars for over twenty years.  I have taught grades PK-5th. My former role was as an EL Specialist in Fort Bend ISD. I am new to Sheldon ISD and can't wait to explore, grow, and learn with the EAGLES team, students, families, and community. My door is ALWAYS open and I am enthusiastic to support.
